So….Do I Need A Wedding/Event Coordinator?
-
Venue coordinators manage the space: setup, breakdown, vendor access, and venue-specific logistics. I manage your event: directing the timeline, cueing vendors, making real-time decisions, and ensuring the experience unfolds the way you planned it. Think of them as the venue’s representative; I’m yours.
-
Perfect. That's exactly who I work with. You've done the creative work, picked the flowers, designed the timeline, chosen the menu. I step in to take ownership of the day so you can enjoy it instead of managing it from the sidelines.
-
Absolutely. I coordinate with your existing vendor team: photographers, florists, caterers, DJs, whoever you've hired. I just need their contact information and contracts so I can step in, centralize communication, and align logistics in the final weeks leading up to your wedding.
-
I’m onsite for up to 10 consecutive hours to oversee your full wedding day timeline — from final setup checks through ceremony, reception, and vendor departure.
Arrival and departure times depend on your specific timeline. For example, if your ceremony begins at 4pm, I typically arrive around 2pm for final setup oversight and stay through midnight to supervise vendor load-out. At full-service venues with dedicated staff, I may depart once structured programming concludes and vendor dismissal is confirmed.
-
Size doesn't change the need for coordination. Timelines still matter, vendors still need direction, and someone still has to handle the logistics so you're not managing your own ceremony. I work with weddings of all sizes; what matters isn’t the guest count, it’s that you want experienced oversight and confident direction on your day.
-
Some weddings benefit from an earlier start. Extended coordination is available on a case-by-case basis. Reach out and we’ll talk through what makes sense for your timeline.
-
Yes, I offer Wedding Weekend Event Coordination. These events can be added to an existing coordination service or booked as a standalone offering.
-
Let's find out. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation (we can absolutely call it a vibe check) before we commit to anything.
I work best with couples who’ve done the planning, value clear communication, and trust their vendors to do what they do best. If you’re organized, decisive when it counts, and want a coordinator who’s proactive without being overbearing, we’re likely a great fit.
